Praed Street

As might be guessed from the picture, this station was actually called Paddington Praed Street. Today it is seen as just the Circle Line platforms of Paddington station, but until 11th July 1948 it was viewed as three separate stations. The Circle Line station used the former name, the Bakerloo Line the latter, while what is now the Hammersmith & City Line platforms was Paddington Bishop's Road.
