Character-based diagrams

The original CULG was a set of text files published by an email system. One of the effects of this was that all the diagrams were created from mono-spaced characters. Some years ago I moved CULG to a web site and converted the pages to HTML. However, turning the diagrams into graphics was much harder until I discovered SVG.

I am now converting all the existing character-based diagrams to graphic. For historical interest I am leaving the old diagrams available on this page. Each diagram includes a link to its graphical replacement giving the date of replacement. Note that the diagrams on this page are not being updated and so may well contain errors.
