Telephone numbers beginning with 03 have been designated for a new class of service: "geographic" numbers with no location. Calls to these numbers should be charged at the same rate as geographic numbers, but they have no specific location (and, indeed, the destination of the call can change from hour to hour).
Numbers beginning 0344, 0345, 0370, and 0371 are intended as direct replacements for 0844, 0845, 0870, and 0871, and are only available to the same end subscriber.
